Pass Plus
PASS PLUS - is an enjoyable and safe way of gaining practical on-road training and 'hands on' experience in a variety of locations, and road, traffic conditions, plus gaining valuable ongoing insurance discounts on completion of the course. The course is open to all 'full' licence holders, but is of particular value to 'new' drivers in their vulnerable first few weeks/months after they have passed their test. We will help you to drive safely and correctly by developing your skills of concentration, observation, anticipation, planning, and lane discipline on motorways/dual carriageways, rural roads, and faster multi-lane urban roads.
Pass Plus courses' are for a minimum of six hours training covering Town Driving, All Weather Driving, Rural roads, Night Driving, Driving on dual carriageways, Driving on motorways. Local conditions or the time of year may mean that some of the course content may have to be given as part of a theory or simulation session (e.g. night driving may not be practicable during the summer months, and faster dual carriageways may simulate motorway driving conditions). Although there is no test to take, your instructor will be monitoring your progress, and completing the necessary paperwork as you develop and practice your road skills.
When you've reached the required standard in all six modules, your PASS PLUS registered instructor will send your completed Training Report Form to the Driving Standards Agency who will then issue a PASS PLUS 'Certificate of Completion' to show that you've successfully completed the course.
